Grassroots Art Center is close to our hearts. It’s a project of the Lucas Arts & Humanities Council, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Grassroots Art Center

What is Grassroots Art?

Created by self‑taught makers—often later in life—grassroots art turns reclaimed materials into immersive environments meant to be experienced as a whole. These spaces are fragile and need ongoing care to survive.

Care for indoor/outdoor folk‑art environments.

  • Donations made directly to the Lucas Arts & Humanities Council, Inc. (the 501(c)(3) operating the Grassroots Art Center) may be tax‑deductible. Consult your tax advisor.

  • Everyday purchases are not tax‑deductible. We periodically run clearly labeled fundraising products/campaigns and disclose the amount or percentage donated.

  • Become a member, volunteer, visit with friends, share on social, or shop the Center’s gift shop.
